Bishops Way
I just wanted to ask whether you could share with the Team who work here how much of a difference they have made since Dad has come to reside here. He is a different man, not only that the difference it has made for our family to know that the care delivered to Dad is amazing, my wife has not slept since her dad has been in care services and now she is sleeping. All the staff here deserve a medal and if you could share our thanks to all of the staff whether it be in 1:1 meetings or a staff meeting I would really appreciate that. The staff do not realise how good and caring they are at their job. The reassurance you provided right at the beginning when we first met, myself and my wife walked away reassured and you have delivered exactly what you said you would. Rye House
I visited the home today for the first time to see my Grandad. I live far away so it is difficult to visit. I didn’t know what to expect as I was not impressed with the previous home but I was absolutely AMAZED with the facilities and the staff were just wonderful. I met Louise today and she is just amazing! So down to earth. Just wanted to say thanks to Louise for helping me entertain my little ones but also thank you to you all for looking after my Grandad as he means the world to me and I feel so much better going there today knowing he’s looked after in such a nice and clean place. Managing Complex Behaviours
My father was admitted to Living Well Street in April 2022. He was transferred from another out of area home as they had been unable to provide care for his complex and sometimes challenging behaviour adequately. Since Dad arrived at Living well I have been most impressed with the care he has received. The staff know him as an individual and treat him as such. He is able to get out for supervised walks and trips regularly which is very important to him. The staff on Living Well Street are well trained, well led, kind and caring, both to him and to me. I live a distance away and cannot visit regularly, they make every effort to keep me up to speed with how he is and are never too busy to answer queries or give me updates. I also have a weekly video call so that I can see him. I have much more peace of mind since Dad was transferred there. Daughter of Living Well Resident

“Moving from the last Care Home where BS had deteriorated fast and never went out, he then moved to Tom Wroe where he followed us straight in. He was very distressed however went to his room and sat on his bed. The family put his clothes away and Umar took him straight for a walk into the garden with some tea and he held it whilst walking with BS. All staff have been extremely kind. I have come in unexpected and found that staff have always been there with BS. BS loves the food here and he has told me that he likes it here and it is clean. I am so happy with him being here.”

“It was so refreshing to visit a service for the third QA review and see significant progress. Well Done to the entire organisation who have really pulled together to support the registered Manager to turn the service around.
