Leyland Lodge is a service for up to 23 people with Mental Health Disorders, Dementia, Learning Disabilities, Autism, or other Complex Care needs. We support people with a person-centred approach utilising care or recovery models or enablement as appropriate. We are situated in Leyland, which is a vibrant busy village with a range of shops and entertainment on our doorstep.

About the home

Recently refurbished Leyland Lodge opened its doors in January 2024. We pride ourselves with upskilled, competent, and compassionate staff who have skills and specialist knowledge to support people with complex behavioural challenges through a positive behavioural support framework. Our in house clinical Psychologist, clinical lead & Therapy team, lead and support the homes to achieve the best outcome for each individual resident. We celebrate individuality to gain the best possible outcomes.

Our Company Values and Ethos underpin all that we do. We truly believe in investing in our teams to ensure they have the right knowledge and skills, this together with their passion to make a difference, is what makes our team special, and together we can make a difference.

We have a therapy team and a Positive Behaviouralist and Service Managers to develop meaningful activities within our service to support our residents. Moving and Handling, PROACT-SCIPr-UK training to use the diversion and distraction approach, care planning, capacity assessments, community assessments and social activity support. Their experience, expertise and input ensure that the people we support receive therapeutic support to lead a safer and independent life.

Leyland Lodge is a purposefully designed building with 23 single bedrooms. The Service has a spacious lounge, dining room for informal dining, communal areas, garden areas. We encourage all the people we support to create their own private, safe space in their room.

Service Manager

Paula Molyneux

Paula Molyneux has over 11 years of experience working within the Health and Social Care sector, building her career through a range of frontline and leadership roles. She began her career as a Care Assistant, supporting individuals with a wide variety of complex needs, and has progressed through the roles of Senior Care Assistant and Deputy Manager to her current position as Service Manager.

Paula holds both Level 3 and Level 5 Diplomas in Adult Care and is committed to ongoing professional development as she continues to progress her career with The Hennessy Partnership. She has also completed a Diploma in Behavioural Psychology, further strengthening her knowledge and expertise in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and supporting her work as a PBS Analyst.

Paula is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and is dedicated to ensuring that every individual receives compassionate, personalised support that promotes independence, dignity and wellbeing.

In addition to her care and leadership experience, Paula is qualified in Manual Handling Training, enabling her to support best practice across care teams and promote safe, effective approaches to care delivery.

Her combination of frontline experience, specialist knowledge and leadership skills reflects her commitment to supporting individuals to achieve positive outcomes and live fulfilling, meaningful lives.
