About the home

Rye House is a small, friendly service with 16 beds over two levels. Each level has its own kitchen, laundry, and communal area. Our caring, well trained, and professional team can support any gender with Dementia, Brain injuries, alzheimers Mental Health Disorders or other Complex Care needs. Our Service Manager develops meaningful activities on a person centred approach. Along with our in house clinical Psychologist, clinical lead & Therapy team, Positive Behaviouralist who are leading &  supporting and guiding the team to have skills and specialist knowledge to support people with complex behavioural challenges through a positive behavioural support framework.

Service Manager

Lauren Mockler

Lauren has worked within the Health and Social Care sector for over 10 years, beginning her career as a Care Assistant supporting residents living with advanced dementia within nursing care, as well as younger individuals with disabilities.

Throughout her career, Lauren has continued to develop her knowledge, skills and professional experience. She has successfully completed her Assistant Practitioner course and gained valuable clinical experience working alongside nursing teams, including supporting individuals with catheter care, insulin administration and PEG care.

Lauren is currently working towards her Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification, further strengthening her leadership skills and professional knowledge.

Over the course of her career, Lauren has progressed into a number of management positions across EMI, residential care and mental health services. This diverse experience has provided her with a strong understanding of supporting individuals with a wide range of complex needs, while also leading, supporting and developing care teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

Lauren is passionate about care and takes great pride in supporting individuals to maintain their independence, achieve their personal goals and reach the best possible outcomes. She is committed to ensuring that everyone she supports is treated with dignity, respect and compassion, while promoting choice, independence and a positive quality of life.

Deputy Manager & Positive Behaviouralist

Sarah Garner

Sarah is an experienced and dedicated Health and Social Care professional with over fiver years’ experience within the sector. She began her career supporting individuals living with dementia and has continued to develop her knowledge, skills and leadership capabilities throughout her career. 

Sarah’s career progression reflects her dedication to delivering high standards of care and support. Progressing from Support Worker to Team Leader, she now holds the position of Deputy Manager, where she continues to strengthen her leadership and management expertise while supporting the effective delivery of high-quality person centred care. 

Sarah has successfully achieve her level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care and is due to undertake her level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership in Health and Social Care. She is also completing her Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Certificate, further developing her knowledge of evidence-based, person centred approaches to supporting individuals with complex needs. 

Sarah is passionate about promoting high-quality care ensuring that the individuals she supports are treated with dignity, respect and compassion. She is committed to empowering individuals to achieve their personal goals, maximise their independence and maintain a meaningful and fulfilling quality life. 

Sarah is enthusiastic about joining The Hennessy Partnership and looks forward to contributing her knowledge, experience and dedication to the organisation. She is keen to build on her existing expertise while continuing to develop her leadership and management capabilities, with a strong focus on achieving positive outcomes for the individuals, teams and services she supports.
